Municipal Signage

Sometimes it’s the little things…

During a twilight market at the Queens Gardens I approached the indigenous Bangerang marquee and asked about better directional signage to their Cultural Centre. The previous sign was small, faded and easily missed by motorists. With their consent, I brought this up at Council and was pleased to discover a new sign had been erected.

I also advocated for updated signage for Monash Park and acted on a constituent’s concern that the old plaque at the Queens Gardens was in need of TLC. Happy to say Monash Park has been updated and Council’s Women’s Charter Advisory Committee are launching a new plaque in the coming week to draw attention to women’s rights.
